About Cluster

CLUSTER (Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research) is a consortium of 12 elite European Universities in Science and Engineering (and architecture) with associate members from around the world.

CLUSTER enhances cooperation among members to promote exchange, cooperation and interaction between students, faculty and administrative staff.

The Cluster member universities are: Aalto University, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP), Instituto Superior Técnico Lisbon (IST Lisbon), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Polytechnic University of Turin (Polito), Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Darmstadt University of Technology (TU Darmstadt), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunuya (BarcelonaTECH).

The Associate member universities are Polytechnique Montréal, Georgia Institute of Technology, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tsinghua University, University of São Paulo and Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology.

The Sino-European Engineering Education Platform (SEEEP) promotes substantial collaboration between the Cluster universities and 18 top Chinese Universities in the area of Science, Technology and Engineering. Our Chinese partners are Tongji University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tianjin University, Tsinghua University, Xi’an Jiao Tong University, Dalian University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Zhejjiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, South China University of Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijjing, Beijing Jiatong University, China University of Petroleum, China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing Unversity of Posts and Telecommunications, East China University of Science and Technology, and Sichuan University.
